The Teenangels Summit was an amazing experience. It showed me that we can make a difference! I met people from all over the USA, who want to help. This Summit showed me how huge of an issue internet safety is, and how often it goes unrecognized. From going to this Summit, I want to teach others that we have to stop this.

Teenangel Patience M, Rothesay Chapter

I feel so fortunate for having been given the opportunity of being a part of the 2008 WiredKids Summit. Initially getting a chance to meet other Teen and Tweenangel chapters from around the country and even outside of the U.S. was great, in that it formed a sense of community. I loved hearing the interesting research and observations everyone else was presenting: hand-held devices, and regional popularity of certain social networking sites. Then the actual day of the Summit was work, work, work...but completely worth it. Being on an official panel in a congressional building, (across from the Capitol Building!), speaking to leaders from major companies about my research...was an experience of a lifetime.
